Bare with me!
This game looks pretty much amazing for an MMO. But I fail to see much final fantasy zones, I'll emphasize the word fantasy because it depicts something out of the ordinary. Ever seen the movie avatar? The world looks, amazing as in if I visited there I would be stunned by what I've seen. Now I want to see some amazing zones that I just want to be in, other than multiple open fields of desert or grass land, I know the world maps are a big thing with final fantasy and I know they're still working on the game. But I just wish to see some unusual outside of the box zones, its fantasy you can play with the world however you like. I do however like the zone, casp hollows, can't spell the first part of the name lol, but I'd love to see more zones or dungeons with those kinda of elements. Basically I just want a zone I can say 'wow' this looks amazing. Along with more content of course.


I have taken a break from the game. But I feel getting my word out would do more than if It didn't. I took a break for numerous reasons. I'll state these here while I'm at it, so with what you read you'll get the general idea on what I think the games missing.

First of all, the grinding, I know its a japanese game, and a lot of koreans probably enjoy grinding. But for me there should be alternatives, maybe more of a deep story arc and possible side stories in which can help me lvl up and motivate me too. I know theres more to this game than when I was playing, I'm lvl 40, and arc 42. Getting groups is another thing. I can't be assed to shout out, have to find linkshells and parties to grind. I know, community is what makes a game but it pushes me away when I just want to pop on and have some fun. A lot of what I'm saying is probably confusing if not. Good. I do understand however things take time to be worked on.

There is more but I'll leave it at that for now...or not.
To sum it up. More content to lvl up with. More flashy amazing fantasy zones. Also just to add, make some more unique monsters to fight, other than going through zone by zone fighting the same 1 with a different name and maybe different skin effect.
All I ask is you think a little more outside the box as its a final fantasy game. Look back to ff7-10 (Bahumut* trial).
Sorry, yet another thing popped into mind. MUSIC, I do like some of the music in ff14 currently. But we need some more traditional, original ff tunes. Remember music had to talk for us before we implemented voice acting.

More stylish armors, in the direction of adventurer kind of clothes and not so much military. I customize what I can with my archer to make him his own robin hood lol but It would be nice with more dynamic armor, cloth or whatever pieces that had final fantasy written all over it, like for instance an arm bracer with a glowing, fiery effect, I don't know the balls in your court!

You could say I'm asking to much and I appreciate it if you read up to this point. But all I ever ask is for final fantasy to be final fantasy and not a rushed what could have been masterpiece, handcraft your game Square-(ENIX). You have guild wars to fight up against soon and it'll be out close to when this is OFFICIALY released. I'll just say heed my words, you guys are boss and hoped you listened. As for the rest of the players feel free to back me up or criticize my points, all is welcome.
