    also you cant say that this patch is end all, because they said it was just a first step, with out having other steps how can you say oh "this is the end I give up the game is over". I know its going to take time for people to figure out balanced way to do raids.

    but only time will tell which way SE is gonna go now.

    Dude how many threads are you going to make about this patch? First it's MAGE STRIKE then "Shocked at the reduction in mage damage, quadruple mp cost, and lowered resources", I mean come on can't you just consolidate your poor opinions into one convenient location so that they are easier to ignore?

    I love the Conjurers who complain about running out of MP. Have you never played another MMO with good tweaks to everything. Conjurers were loleasymode before this patch. Now it feels like how I always planned for my CON to be, almost a direct descendent of a FFXI WHM. Anyone who can't manage MP needs to lrn2play or choose a different job. The devs are doing an amazing job. This is the best patch so far, and I hope they keep up the good work. No more of those pathetic lolcameraangle or targetting patches, that are a waste of time. At least this patch actually did something.

    There's 3 things for me. Just 3. The rest I can deal with. In order of importance to me...

    1. Give us a button to manually initiate the auto-attack. I don't like auto-attack, but I understand I'm going to have to get used to it so I'm not asking for it to be changed as such. I'd like an auto-attack button that will initiate auto-attack by forcing the character to face the target and attack to start with. I don't believe this is too much to ask for. I know we have other basic skills we can use for this, but I'd much prefer one with the cooldown of the weapon attack speed and no mp cost (see pugilists' former basic attacks). Y'know, like the archers light shot, but for melee. Please?

    2. The reduction of the recast timers on 3 class defining skills; Light Strike [PGL], Broad Swing [MRD] and Pierce [LNC]. These 3 skills are what defined the melee weapon classes as being different from each other and without them being utilized we'd be as well using 'generic weapon' with whatever weapon skills we have.

    3. A promise that the enmity algorithms are being refined and not being left as they are. I think we all know what I mean here.

    In the meantime I'm just playing archer so I don't have to deal with the above issues.


    On a side note, I've no issues with the game content added; I enjoy the dungeons and the challenge they provide. Good job on the rest of it. It's only the battle mechanics I want revised as battle is the core of the game for me. I understand it's still in the baby stages of implementation of the battle changes, but I think my above points are valid in response to this specific topic.

    Because he believes that defs will actually be dumb enough not to see through his scheme. He thinks that by managing to have at least one of those posts on top of the forum list every time a dev visits, they will believe he represents the majority of opinions.

    As if they wouldn't realize that neither are his suggestions liked, nor most of the comments appreciative.

    Come on, guys... He's just voicing his opinions. And, I might add, that he's doing so in an intelligent and respectful manner. Don't take that away from him just because you don't agree with him.

    There's already a button, it's the active/passive mode button.

    Sorry but there's a big difference between voicing your opinions and making a grip of threads about the same topic to get noticed. If you make a thread and think of things to say about that topic, the thread you created is the perfect place to put it, or, one of the 500 other threads on this topic.

    I don't care if I agree with him or not but textwalling the forums every day because you need the attention is a symptom of a larger problem.
