    Selene or Eos?

So, I've been playing this game for a couple of months now (currently i96 scholar stuck on TEX/T5) and I've honestly always used Eos.
Recently though, I've been practicing to use Selene in easy things like main scenario roulette and I notice that runs go a quite a bit faster when I use her...
At least when I don't forget to click the buffs, since I use my fairies on Obey xD

My question is, what fairy do you guys think is better and for which content?
I feel like I should use Selene more than I currently do, considering I only use her for things up to Praetorium, but I'm afraid I'll miss out on the AoE healing and breathing room Eos provides if I do.

(Sorry if my English is a bit screwy, it's not my first language >.<)

It mostly depends if you are confident in your healing skills or not.

Usually, I use Eos for anything that I don't know yet (except new 4-men dungeons) and Selene for everything else. There is no real occasion where the AoE heal of Eos is needed when you know the fights.

That said, if there is a double scholar composition, having both fairies is better than 2 Selene or 2 Eos

    I use Eos for:

    Leviathan
    Turn 5 after snakes
    Turn 6
    Turn 8 trash
    Turn 9 after golems.

    Otherwise I'm using Selene.

I try to use Selene whenever I am confident I won't have healing issue because DPS love her
I use Eos when I solo stuff like maps, daily tribe...
as mentionned above I also use Eos when I start a new fight, then slowly switch to Selene as the team and I gear and up and bit more confident
(ex: I just started using Selene for T8 when I though I really needed Eos)

Thanks for the responses guys ^_^
Guess I'll be trying to use Selene more often.
Any specific advice on how to cycle through her buffs or just use them whenever they're off cooldown?

I let her on auto xD

that way you have a permanent buff : 30 secs of spell speed, 30 secs of skill speed, repeat.

I'm not SCH main though, so I might be badly wrong

    I've macro'd both buffs (seperately)

    Here's an example
    /micon "Fey Glow"
    /pac "Fey Glow"
    /wait 27
    /echo " text <se.7> "

This way it reminds me that the buff will end soon so I'm prepared to cast the other.
I'm not sure but I think if selene isnt on obey she only uses 1 of the buffs and doesnt cycle them. Could be severly wrong though. I like to have as much controll as possible so I'll leave her on obey and do it manually.

She will cycle them since they have a 60 sec cooldown and a 30sec duration.

Also unless your not using any other macros you won't see the echo from your macro since you can only have 1 macro "running" at a time

As for which one I use. Normally I'm on WHM unless I'm soloing or doing EX roulette (Hate brayflox HM as whm) and I use Eos for those. I might start using Selene for the roulette through I do like the regen during the larger pulls there.

The SCH in my static does what others have said starts fights with Eos and once we have the mechanics down will switch to Selene. We have just started learning T8 and the extra healing is helpful when we miss a Homing Missle. Also as a WHM I love the +healing buff.

Selene on auto works well, except if you are doing a content where you don't want to make a mob immune to "silence" at the wrong time.
