Pets Sync Diffrerently from Summoner?

This is a relatively minor thing, but something I noticed lately. Whenever I do any level 50 content, I can use Titan-egi with zero trouble. Maybe two attacks, and he's got the pack of mobs superglued to him, and I can't out-aggro him for anything.

But, any time I'm level-synced for a dungeon or a fate, I instantly rip aggro off him. Even after giving him a 4-5 attack head start to build hate, I grab mobs off him before the first Fester.

Anyone else have this happen? I realize the egi's level is gimped, but so is mine, and an egi's stats are as tied to whatever gear I'm wearing as I am. So does this mean our pets gets gimped at a different rate than we do at level sync?

I think that the egis follow a different level pattern than the master. I seem to recall that their accuracy cap, etc is far different than our own. Then again, there are some stats that are pretty much useless to the master as well as the egi (i.e. spell speed). So, to answer your question, yes, the egis are gimped at a different rate than we do at level sync. Its a sad fact but true for the SMN job. Although, I could be mistaken and please correct me if I am.
