T9 Divebombs - Want to understand the logic

    Hi,
i know there is the chart for T9 divebombs with the three possible situations which can occur and how to handle them, simple enough. However, I want to fully understand how the Dives work, I hope you guys can help me.

    Is it:

    - Always the same two colors dive first and then the other? (E.g. red+blue first, yellow second)

    - The dragons which appear first?

    - ...

    Thanks for helping me out.

I know that you want to direct the first two dragons on one edge, and the second on the other, thus the middle is always dive-free.

Like you mentioned, there are three possible situations in which the dragons can appear. There will always be 2 set of dives, the first with 2 dragons and the second with one dragon. I'm not sure if the colors of the dragons diving are fixed, all I can say is that they do not matter. The rationale of divebomb placement is simple. Because the dragons will dive towards the marked player, you want to position the player in such a way that it covers the smallest area of the platform as possible, while at the same time getting the rest of the raid away from that player. So take for example when the first set of dragons diving are at 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock. You place the person with divebomb at roughly 4 o'clock so that when both dragons dive, they only cover the bottom right side of the arena, and keeping your raid safe.

Interestingly, the concept behind running up and down "the pit" in T5 also uses a similar concept.

Yes thats the stuff I know What I wanted to know is: How can I tell which dragons are diving first, and which is diving second, other than recognizing it is situation 1,2, or 3. If there isn't any other clue than knowing and recognizing I'm also fine

when dragons come down for ice fire thunder phase, turn your camera to 12 o'clock position, then rotate your camera clockwise. the first 2 dragons you see will always dive first, then the 3rd dragon will dive after. so the first marked person parks the mark in between the first 2 dragons while everyone else would go near to the opposite side. the 2nd marked person would then park the mark on either side of the last dragon.
