    New Character

    Hey, I have a buddy who is trying to create a new character on Balmung to play with a few of us, but creation on Balmung is currently locked. I know it showed certain times that certain worlds are locked from character creation, but he wanted to know if Balmung, being a Legacy server, is locked permanently for creation, or also rotates?

    I believe it updates if it's locked or unlocked every 3-4 hours.

    I'm actually curious about this, as Sargatanas has been closed for new characters every time I've looked... for more than a week. I haven't noticed Balmung though. They're both closed right now though.

    Curious myself as to why there are rarely more than a couple JP servers closed, but almost all of the Legacy servers and a couple more NA/EU servers closed regularly.

    Still trying to figure out why it's closed to people who already have characters there... it's not like I won't be on the server, I will just be ticked off that I can't make the character I want to. Doesn't really address the op, but I needed to say it

    Also note if you have a basic membership (12.99) a month you can only have 1 character per world. You will need to upgrade to the 14.99 a month to create multiple characters per world. I just learned this myself a week ago and had to upgrade.
