Vote kick is very useful thank you very much. It helped a Toto-rak group I was in boot the speed-running-without-asking tank who, after complaining the entire run that they could have been running leviathan instead, got mad when the BLM accidentally ran into a group of enemies before he pulled and AFK'd since "the blm wants to be puller so he can do it". Also booted a very obnoxious BLM who was being super pushy about speed running in Wanderer's Palace and threatened the whole AFK thing too.
