Why have Vote Kick if it's almost entirely abused?

Sorry, but if someone is already recovering from a situation gone bad/wipe (and maybe some in the party already KNOW they screwed up and are thinking "Damn, can't believe I screwed that up, rrgh", thus they're already feeling defensive/sore), "or don't stun him" and "flash and overpower traditionally prevent that ;p" could VERY EASILY come across as condescending, not "joking", and could really grate on someone who was already frustrated. You choose your words very, very poorly.

And this really isn't an abuse of the vote/kick system. Is it perhaps a bit overly reactionary on their part to kick you after that exchange? Maybe. But that's a debate on the merits of who said what; that's separate from the issue of "If a player feels that another party member is being abusive or disruptive, and initiates a vote kick, and the other two agree and vote Yes, is that an abuse of the system?" And the answer to that is no. I understand why it's a frustrating situation for you to have found yourself in, but the answer to the question is still no. They thought you were acting in an improper manner, so they kicked you. They have a right to do so. Obviously not everyone will agree on whether or not the specifics of a given situation/conflict merit a kick, but that's life.

And that's all aside from the fact that I have seen or heard from friends about three different instances of someone being vote-kicked because they were being absolutely horrible to someone else in the party, easily demonstrating the reasons why vote kick exists, and of course that's on top of the instances where someone goes offline or just stops moving/doing anything for reasons unknown, etc. Yes, it can be abused; what can't? No system is perfect. Someone would find a way to abuse it no matter how the system in question worked. But in my opinion, the benefits of this system existing far outweigh the negatives.
