And - giving too much power over one person - Leaders of a party - the community is bad enough as it is, no need for power trippers.

Party leaders are picked randomly at the start of a duty. People get a power trip vote kicking people out, so I don't think my idea is any worse. If anything, just stick with your FC or linkshell and avoid the idiots of pubs entirely.
