Maybe not remove but I do agree with the diea behind why you want it removed. WHen it comes to myth all forms should be valid whether its running dungeons, trials, raids, frontlines or hunts. But you earn as much myth within 2 minutes with hunts as you do an hour in CT in some cases. That means all other ways to level up are not really viable compared to hunts. The same goes for sands/oil. There should have been a cap on them to only allow one a week in line with coil and ST. So this means both ST and coil 2 are now not viable. I personally think all rewards should be completely re worked but its been a long time now and nothing major has changed so I doubt this will happen. I'll still do dungeons as I actually like them and just put up with double length queues.

I think the whole hunt system is fantastic. I was sick TO DEATH of doing dungeons to get myth. The hunt has given the game a brand new look.

It's refreshing seeing people running around the world rather than sit in Mor Dhona.

    Great call and idea Yoship!

Hunts get me Sold and Myth faster than doing dungeons. The Allied Seals are just a bonus to me, as are the logs for sands/oils.

Also, I don't see them as high stress. I just join a hunt party, TP when told to, and go to the spot. If the mob is dead before I get there, whatever. If the mob is there, I wait until someone pulls. I don't care what people say in shout, it's irrelevant. When pulls happen, you attack, even if it was early or whatever. Turn off shouts or ignore the chatbox or Blist the worst of the entitled whiners, and you don't have to deal with the drama that always ensues. It's low stress, simple, and even if I only get to half the marks in time, it's still the fastest Myth and Sold in the game, as well as getting you other things.

If you don't want hunts to be stressful or high drama, don't let them be. You can participate in them without having to deal with that stuff anyway.

I'm probably alone here but I actually am quite content with the game in its current state. I've done a lot of hunts so far but often times it's so tedious that I'd rather just spam Frontlines for myth lol Then when I get bored of that I do some more hunts for seals and myth. All that while still doing roulette for map.

I understand but disagree with the hunt haters, but I personally enjoy having multiple options so that the game isn't so boring. Dungeons are horrible why would you wana force us back in?? Lol .
So far the only arguement from hunt haters I've totally disagreed with is the people that talk about how they dont think it's fair other people are getting ilvl110 now after they've worked so hard for it in coil. News flash: the world doesn't revolve around you and nobody cares if you're butthurt over something that doesn't have anything to do with u. Other than that, I can understand why people dislike hunts.

Again....fastest way to reduce the zerg hunts has become:

1.- Lower the myth/sold rewards. Getting enough seals for an oil/sand is useless if you dont have Sold for said item. This will make ppl also do dungeons/roulettes/raids/frontlines.
2.- Since you can pretty much get unlimited oils/sands with hunts, remove them from the weekly lookout in ST/Coil. This will send ppl who enjoy raiding back to raids.
3.- Make frontline reward allied seals. This will send everyone who enjoys pvp back to frontlines.
4.- Increase the reward for dailies. Make them give something around 50 seals each day. 10 days to get an oil if you want to avoid the drama and do the daily only.

You want lots of ppl doing lots of different stuff. Not all the server doing just one.
If not, the other option would be putting a 750 weekly cap = 1 sand per week.

The problem with Hunts is the disproportionate rewards. If FATEs (which take LONGER than hunts) gave 20 sold, 80 myth, and a chance at an item that can be traded for sand/oil, do you think anyone would be doing anything else?

I agree with this. We've reached a point where removing Sands/Oils from Allied Seal rewards are not a viable option. Myth rewards are just too good from hunts. Best option would be to drastically reduce or remove them entirely.

Think about it this way. Lets say I'm working on my Animus/Novus. In the past, I would run Brayflox over and over, which was the best way to gain myth. However, myth (and some GC seals from turn ins) was pretty much the only reward. So players had a choice: Do I farm fast myth for my books/alex maps? Or do I do other content with other rewards, but the myth might not be as good (Ex Primals, BCoB).

The problem with 2.3 is that there is now no choice. The fastest myth option is now also the one that provides other (and really good) rewards. Now I can work on my Relic questline AND get Sands/Oils. I was doing a Ramuh Ex learning party a couple days and people just bounced after the second wipe because they heard "S Rank up" in a linkshell. The rewards are too good to pass up. I realize that people want their Sands/Oils and its far too late to nerfs seals in whichever way, but there's definitely an imbalance of rewards between hunts and every other content in the game aside from 1 shotting SCoB in less than an hour.

They need to either neuter myth rewards from hunts or do something like double the myth rewards of all the roulette bonuses. Its ridiculous how spending 10 seconds to kill an A-rank gives more myth than completing a full run of Brayflox HM.

I actually love that idea Erudain lol Specially the allied seals for Frontlines which also makes perfect sense.

I hope you guys do realize that for atleast 95% of the people in the game, doing hunts is in no way faster for myths/soldiery than doing dungeons. It's been two weeks now and i've yet to get over 100 Allied Seals, possibly 250 myths in two weeks and a neglible amount of soldiery.

If they remove it, i wouldnt even run it anymore since doing it just for Sands of Time is painful and boring and just the elite can be bothered to do that.

How about removing logs instead for the Sands of Time. Then things will quiet down.

How about leave everything the way it is and people just learn to accept it, for once.
