    I honestly think it's because of the normals they've used.
    From the direct back view the behind looks decent enough, 3/4 starts to show some of the flatness, by the time you go into full profile it's completely flat.
    I could be wrong though... o.o;;
    And if it is because of the weird pelvic tilt then there isn't much to be done D=

    Here is what I wonder. While the team is prioritizing "a large variety of designs", can you explain to us why we get cross-job and cross-content designs? This contradicts the "large variety" part.

    Just to make sure: why does i90 healer PvP look the exact same as crafted i90 healer PvE (cross-content)?. Why do tanks/casters/healers share their soldiery design (cross job)? Even worse: why do we have jobs, completely no similarities role wise, have the exact same gear design (MNK & BRD for example)? That last one just wows me..

    The list goes on and on. My point: there is no "large variety". It has been more of the same for a very long time.

    I sure hope we will get to see this variety.

    Don't forget that 2.3 brought us a bevvy of new armor sets that are recolors shared among similar roles. Syrcus tower gives MNK and DRG their own sets but are basically the same model with slightly different stats. Casters and Healers got recolors of the same set. WAR and PLD share the same set (again).

    I'd honestly rather SE have free reign to design tons of cool stuff than to sweat the small stuff. The clipping does kinda suck, but it is pretty minor most of the time unless you are looking really close.

    Considering most of this gear that is of "large variety" is just reskinned or recolored versions of old gear at this point I question the validity of the statement

    healer i90 crafted set = Acolyte set
    Monk i90 crafted set = Infantry set
    Bard i90 crafted set = Foestriker set
    Caster i90 crafted set = Battle mage set
    Bard Soldiery = monk soldiery
    i90 myth = AF recolors

    I didnt realize it took so much work to click a paint bucket icon then click the armor

    To be fair a lot of people wanted to be able to dye those sets. I'm sure some people also didn't appreciate running [insert dungeon here] 30 times just to obtain [insert set name here] pieces. They could have added them all as level 1 items (see: colosseum gear), but I think they opted to kill two birds with one stone and I don't really begrudge them for that.

    I don't have an issue with them adding those models in again but using the excuse of we can't do this due to us focusing on adding a wide variety of models to the game as a reason for not fixing things when they are clearly reusing models constantly with a different skin or color is what my problem is

    I don't personally notice many clipping issues, but it's probably due to my choices of gear and hairstyle. I feel like they've done a pretty good job really. There's only so much you can do unless you use a good physics engine for everything that isn't essentially plastered to your body. Maybe they will do something like that with DX11 or sometime later. Using traditional animation methods it's simply not possible for robes and things that have a variable distance from the body to always look good, unless the range of motion is very restricted.
