Then don't use it. I'm requesting a macro option and come to think about it, my original post makes no mention about that. Guess I'll change that now then. This sounds like the Guild Wars 2 auto-attack Combo system, but more complex.
So you want a macro that does /micon "Step1", /a "Step1", changes /micon to "Step2", waits to be activated again at which point it will perform /a "Step2", and so on, going back to Step1 when it reaches the end of the list.
I don't like the implications this functionality has for non-combo actions.
As a Summoner, I know I'd make a macro using this command to throw out Bio2, then Miasma, then Bio, then Contagion, then Shadowflare. This reduces my class to about 5 buttons if I make a couple more cycle macros. I don't want this.
Monk? A nightmare. What about all the other stance-combo abilities monk uses? What happens when you use one and now need to mash your finisher twice in order to hit it on time? What if you hit it 3 times and now your hot bar is no longer in sync with where you are in the combo?
"I've been playing MMO's a long time and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that lions do not concern themselves with the opinions of sheep. Just take that little voice in your head that tells you to be tactful and understanding and shoot it...shoot it in the goddamn face."
