I'm more worried about them fixing up the gilded armor so it can pew pew like the normal type.

Instead of a fiery explosion, have it be a bunch of gil coins that explode! (for vanity's purposes only)

it was real easy to amass commendations if you were a solo PVPer before frontlines. But yeah I see a ton of gold magiteks now so it's probably time for a new tier of reward.

Or farm them from guildhests. I know people who racked up 500 in 2 weeks after the patch. Once people figure out how to abuse somethimg, it loses its purpose.

I too am in the 1k commendation club. It's only benefit so far is other players saying "you suck" when I tell them how many commendations I have.

I imagine if/when they add another rank or two to commendation achievements, it will be something cripplingly high, like 3k and 5k.

Better start farming lolol. I'm pretty sure though. The next two ranks are 1k and 3k (or 5k) due to the pattern that the other achievements have.
