While there is a possibility we will look into adding additional achievements and rewards for commendations in the future, at the moment there are no plans for this.

If there are no plans maybe make it so people can't give commendations to those that are already at 500?

Can we at least get more stuff available to buy from yourself (Odin) and Behemoth? I got so many horns and mantles and nothing left to buy :/ perhaps a Sleipnir mount?

Just accumulating them is not satisfying and please dont let it be a secund veteran bonus...

I think i have already around 670 commendations. Started to play the game 2-3 months ago as whitemage. Never got seven commendations at once, but six a couple of times. I played the ramuh story fight for a whole day because i really enjoyed the fight & music and i wanted the levin orb/myth tomes. Because of that, i did always ask if someone is new and if so i posted a macro-guide for that fight to quickly help out. I have got a bit less then 100 commendations on that day.

But i agree with some more rewards for 1000+ commendations. Would be nice to have some shiny armor pieces or accessories.

I dunno, considering how easily commendations can be farmed I'm not surprised they aren't adding more rewards. People had the gold mount within a few days of it being released, the same thing would happen with further rewards.

Sucks for the legitimate people I know, and it's entirely possible that commendations in Guildhests were a bad idea to begin with.

Jesus.. I'm still 15 away from getting the Gilded Magitek and there are people with 1k+? The hell?

Must be Tank/Healer primary, despite your forum thingy saying Lancer.

I feel pretty good about actually being able to get the gold magitek soon, a lot of people I know don't even have as many coms as I do. O.o And I've been playing since beta, granted the com system came out later.

LOL. I'm kinda surprised people still think this is about being nice to people in dungeons. In four man stuff it seems to me most of the time people follow the convention of dd give it to dd and the tank gives it to the healer and vice versa. In stuff like FL the healers give them to each other.
Personally I just click at random half the time, apart from frontlines where its lala healer> other healer> someone at random if the healers left before I could click.

It's not so much about being nice as it is about not being a total douche. If you were a healer, for instance, and the tank was an asshat the whole run, would you still go with the Healer <-> tank convention, or would you give your commendation to one of the DDs for a change? I know I would.

By the time you reaches 500 commendations, if you haven't had your douchebag tendencies ironed out of you there's probably no hope for you at all.
