Hunt achievements not working correctly?

It seems there is an issue at present where only some marks are counting towards the Hunt area achievements.

Yesterday afternoon I was 4/5 for Thanalan B-rank marks and was in the claiming party for Flame Sergeant Dalvag. When it died, I didn't get the achievement (got full marks and mythology, soldiery is capped).

My La Noscea B-rank also says 2/6 but I have killed the required amount of marks to qualify for that achievement : 4x Vuokho and x2 Bloody Mary.

• "Bring Your B Game II" (50 rank B) is at 16/50.
• In total, "Mark of the Holt/Desert/Sea/Lake" are only eight kills.

Has anyone noticed this and/or has data to share so we can try to tie down the cause?

you have to kill different ones, not 6 times the same one

btw for mor dhona 2/2 you have to kill Naul + Leech King

Yeah, unfortunately the wording on those are misleading. What the achievements are actually for is to kill 2/4/5/6 unique marks of that rank. For example, if you want to get "Mark of the Lake: B" you must slay both Leech King and Naul at least once each. The raw numbers achievements are the "On Your Mark: _" and "Straight _'s".

Thanks for the info! So the achievement text needs to be amended and that would be more apparent. I guess both Coerthas and Mor Dhona would be "too easy" to get with only one entry. Back to hunting...

Theres nothing misleading about it. It says 'Slay X rank Y marks'. Killing the same mark twice is 1 mark.

Really, the Bring your _ game and Straight _s ones are misleading since the non-total ones are first, but these are counting a different way and come second, but use the same wording.
