that's the point of being exclusive though....

What will it be now ? Want the dalamud minion ? The "I beat levianthan" T-shirt ? The incoming Fanfest goodies even though you didn't go ?

They're different to in-game events, though. A game where it's very easy for them to repeat events, it would kinda suck for them not to answer the community and repeat it. As for the Dalamud minion, the T-shirt, and the Fanfest... that's just a total different thing entirely. :|

sadly they're not.

Dalamud was from soundtrack CD, Tshirt from E3 or Japan Expo in France, Fanfest... All happen only a few times, so they're exclusive. OK we agree.

Now what ? Lightning event. Reason behind it : FFXIII-LR is released, first in japan (1st event) then in NA/Europe (2nd event) and... that's all. There isn't even a HD remix edition to back this 3rd event. Thus either this reiteration or the first 2 have absolutely no meaning. And it's totally dumb in both case.

So the problem here is either :
- So called exclusive items are not, and all other "exclusive items" should become available by other means (Mog station for minions/mounts "exclusive" ?)
- SE is trying too much to comply to every whine because "I missed this event it should come back just for me".


As an example, I could use the recent soccer world cup. If SE had made an exclusive event for it, would you support new players from 3.0 who would whine because they couldn't get the wind-up world cup minion ? (totally made up example)
I hope you wouldn't, because it would mean that the entire event was meaningless.

The same applies for LR. Or at least should have applied. The only "mistake" they did was the level requirement to finish the event, as people starting to play when the event was live felt a lot left behind a content they should have been able to do (every other event is lv15+, LR was 45+ to finish)

Cry about reasons

Maybe I'm old and blind but I seem to see 1 Year Anniversary at the top. Seems like a good enough justification to me. Take the most popular events and give em a send off with a 1 year bash. I swear some people would bitch over anything.
