    How about this as a solution, make the NM's Hunt mobs only targetable, poppable and get credit if you or some one in your party has the Mark sheet handed by Hunt Board. So that only those that have the weekly mark get credit and hunt it. I honestly thought this was how it was going to operate to begin with... but no its free rewards at all times, (not making it a weekly hunt but a farm hunt) people are just farming the hell out of it because they can. If they make it so that its an actual weekly hunt then the horde would disperse because reward has been achieved.

    Plus the "fix" of rng weekly hunt mobs is horrid... I was expecting it to give each person a different weekly hunt, but everyone still gets the same weekly hunt mob, which causes the horde to just go after that mob and make it hard for anyone to get credit. The Marks should be RNG per player not per serverwide.

    So ~5 minutes of content and then nothing worthwhile to do for a week. Sounds legit.

    But really, I think the initial suggestion proposed in this thread is good conceptually, but its made more complicated than it needs to be.
    Really I'd just say give a right click option that says, "Declare target"/"Announce"/"Commence with the brutality" or whatever on inactive marks. The first person to find them and select that gets full credit, full stop and the position then gets broadcast to the map. Everything else can continue same as it ever was from then on.

    I'm glad you think its good conceptually, though I'm curious why you think it's more complicated than it needs to be?

    Like, how is your version any less complicated? Mine is virtually the same:

    My suggestion has no rules on timing/immunity, teleporting players, or any of that jazz.
    It is literally just a means to ensure the finder (individually at least) gets full credit with the broadcast bit there to essentially let everyone else know that they don't get to claim it since its already been found by someone.

    Interesting premise to the whole Weekly concept.

    I think rather than giving individualized Weekly Marks, they should change it to where Weekly Marks are different for each GC.

    Maelstrom has a unique one shared by all its members & etc.

    No need for forum threads about your input, if you want input go sign a application at Square-Enix and see if your idea's get through the door.

    hit monster you claim the monster for your alliance. thats how you fix it. old school style if you people are too slow to make it before you get killed and you die you lose claim.
