Everybody Hates Ramuh (and why the fight needs reworking)

I just hate the fact that you have to complete the entire story just to unlock it. Ain't no body got time for that.

This is honestly the only thing that needs fixing.

Yes. The loot is too low level to care about it. I'll probably only beat it once so that I have the clear at this rate.

Why should Ramuh Ex give gear comparable to SCoB when the other EX primals dont?

because the first 3 EX primals existed before SCoB and they gave accessories that were the SAME iLv as the BCoB. not all EX primals are created the same, that's why they all have different iLv entry requirements.

Or people can just suck it up and get better. The mechanics are easy. Number people 1-5 and bind 1-3(6-8)
Mark infront of Ramuh as A ( a little bit away from his aoe) make charmed people stack there.
The lower your number the higher your priority to thunder people out of charm. If you don't have a thunder on you or you're charmed then it falls to 2 then 3 and on so on.

For arbiters clear the south and move clockwise and just pay attention to thunder. Use lb on them if you can. We used caster lb to hit 2 arbiters. Phase 1 mechanics are still active.

3rd phase, make people with the lower of the two collect the orb. (If 1 and 4 are connected then only 1 will collect orbs) then tank clear alternately.

I agree on the rewards but whatever can't have it all I guess.

Or you could just... do the fight for the challenge? Or to help someone else pull off a clear? Seriously, I've tried tanking him and only got to ~65%, but this fight is -awesome-. And the rings are a pretty good secondary ring once you've got your restored soldiery ring (most of the H.Allagan rings are godawful...)
I mean, hell, you might as well start complaining that Leviathan dropped a shield for white mages when 95% of i50+ WHM weapons are two-hand, so to get -any- use out of this wonderful drop I got I have to either farm for a tidal wave wand (and then still be less effective than the animus weapon I'm about to get) or pay eleventy billion gil for an HQ melded Garuda/Mog wand. Or hell, why weren't you around complaining when Ifrit dropped ludicrously useless i60 weapons that were easily and hilariously outclassed by even a crafted Sarnga/Mailbreaker/Alkalurops/etc. I wouldn't mind buffing up the ilvl a bit on some of these rewards either, but this stuff is far from garbage.

What's wrong with you? No high lvl gear drop? Do it for the challenge? Such none sense you casual. Now excuse me while I go Zerg muh hunts and talk about scob gear in a 20+ page thread that consists purely of flame wars. Do it for the challenge he says get out o' here before you get laughed out of the room you Bambi.

And when I get back you better have a thread up about how content is difficult for you, or your a** is grass. I want to come in and complain about how much of a scrub you are all the while turning the blind eye about how much of a hypocrite I am.

2. i95 craftable weapons were not available when Leviathan first came out

I concur that the fight is ridiculous for the rewards given.

The iLvl requirement is completely out of whack too. At nearly i110 for all 8 of us, even just one DPS dying mid-add phase was enough for a wipe. That phase is extremely abusive for melee DPS too.

There's just too much to learn, no room for errors, and underwhelming rewards. My FC had reserved a day of the week for Ramuh farming, and it took all of one week for us to decided to put that time into farming hunts as a FC instead. It's really sad too, since I actually liked the fight :/

People said leviathan ex couldn't be beaten and it sucked and it was too hard and the ilvl req was too low and etc as well yanno?

Incoming excuses why Ramuh ex is harder than Levia ex....

I will give you that a difference is that in Rex that you can PK your friends, BUT THAT IS THE BEST PART!

Yeah because that acc and spell speed are not outweighed at all by the det and crit on the judgement ring. LOL ok dude, let's all pretend we don't know how the stats work so OP can feel like the pro he thinks he is.
