The most recent free weekend has left me wanting to resub, however I get a 601 error while inputting my card details.

I spent over an hour waiting to speak with someone on the chat help, but they disconnected me within 2 sentences as I have an EU account (but I live in the US).

I tried connecting to the EU chat support, but it won't allow me to (as I live / have a US based IP address? I am not sure). I also don't like the idea of sitting in queue for another hour+.

So I came here wondering if this issue is affecting other people?Is it a known issue? Seems pretty moronic to have a free weekend coupled with a bug or system error denying people to resub.

Any help would be appreciated.
