Issue with pet

Anyone else having issues with Eos not embracing the target. I have my macro set up for Eos to heal with my physick and yes Eos is set to obey. Typical run is

Me: tank needs health. Let's him him Eos.
Eos: no. I want to heal the dps that can't dodge AOEs.
Me: no Eos heal tank or we're all dead!
Eos: you ain't the boss of me. I'll do what I want.

It gets annoying to have eos embracing other targets than the one I'm trying to heal. Does Eos auto heal above my command due to programming ie other party mar has less % or they are closer to eos than the target I want to heal?

Eos/Selene auto-Embraces anyone who falls below 80%.

Make a Embracespam macro. Better than Physick+Embrace. Less effort.

Put your fairy on "steady", and she won't autoembrace anyone. This is useful for those focus-healing-on-the-tank situations; no grabbing errant DPS at critically bad moments ^^

on obey she simply heals automatically unless you order her to do it on time. it might take a while but if she is busy casting the spell or on cooldown, it just might not work because she is still busy casting her embrace on someone else.
instead of pairing it with adlo or physick i actually just put embrace icon along my adlo and physick, that way i can track cooldown and know when to click

False. Steady does not stop auto-embrace.

This won't help with what the OP is experiencing. Eos auto casts embrace the moment the cool down is off, and none of the action commands queue for her, so it is impossible to get your command to register before she auto heals. Your embrace commands do not cancel if she is already casting. As long as someone is under the 70 or 80% (whatever the threshold is), you cannot control who she embraces.

I haven't done testing with steady yet.

Hmm. Is this a fairly recent change? I haven't been on scholar much recently but I though steady-obey gave completely control over the fairy, even have an old macro for it...

It's from before they did they change where you don't need a target to set modes, though. ：S

It doesn't directly help, but there are extremely few situations where both a tank NEEDS that extra Embrace and a non-tank is "stealing" a heal.

An embracespam macro lets you just not have to concern yourself with that at all. If auto doesn't trigger, you loaded a heal onto tank. If auto triggers, it was faster than you anyways. There is no waste here.

Apologies for the mistake then. But I will add I've had pretty good luck locking the fairy onto a target just macro spamming (which I thought was from steady), ie Lev Ex.
