    blm range issues

    Why is it that blm can be interupted so easily just by an enemy moving barely to the left or right of you or even behind you when it does not interupt anyother job. In pvp this is a major issue seeing how long it takes to cast and how other jobs can pound you from a distance so easily with no way for a blm to interupt them. Please fix range so that it is a cirle instead of a cone.

    Breaking the LoS will interrupt every attack spell that has a cast time, so Bio2, Miasma, Stone, etc will also be interrupted by that.
    Beside of that: NO, playing a ranged dd is so simple in most cases, why nerf it more?

    Dude it is broken by losing los now. I am just saying a spell should not be interuptedby losing los, only by range, moving or being hit.

    You *can* rotate while casting to continue facing your target. That or just mash the "face target" button (default key: F).

    Not exactly correct. There is a period about 0.5s from cast completion where you can begin moving and still have the spell finish successfully.

    This is an essential part of playing any caster well but is essential for a good BLM. And a major reason why the average BLM still does poorly (way too much movement).

    Don't need to mash it. Simply pressing F one will make you automatically track your target.

    As soon as you move position you will be interrupted, yes. You can still rotate to face your target while casting; it works the same with every casting class: Thaumaturge, Conjurer, Arcanist; and their jobs. Otherwise they would be almost unplayable for some fights.

    while you can lock on a target and rotate while casting this simply does not hold true for all situations, i still get spells interupted at times.
    There is however a certain threshhold that you can move while the spell is not 100% cast, just takes practice is all. I still say the buff should of been for movement and not the 10% increase for Fire

    One thing I would like to see regarding this, is a rework of some of our mechanics. For example allowing us to move on spells such as Fire I and blizII while casting would help a lot for our DPS. Perhaps even thunder I, II, and III could be made mobile since Bio is. They don't have to take away casting time, just allow us to move while casting for the smaller spells. I understand that spells like FireIII and Flare should remain a stand still cast as that only makes sense. Perhaps something that seems so small to me might break our class int he eyes of some, but I would appreciate more mobility.
