No more gilseller spam?!

Since the 2.3 update I've literally only received THREE gilselling spam tells, and ZERO in almost a week (and I leave my character logged in all night deliberately to catch & report them).

I'm not sure if there was some new countermeasure put into place or not, but let me just say Good Job! to everyone at SE on this.

They limited the number of /tells you can send per second. I'm not sure of the exact limitation, but it's obviously been enough to thwart gil sellers and not legitimate players. It is nice that they finally implemented this (though it did take a while considering it was in FFXI at launch).

I think the auto-AFK rule blocks that, as you can't get tells while AFK.

But to your point, though I've seen a few more tells than you, it's certainly a drastic reduction from what it used to be. So something finally worked.

On Siren got a ton last night. It slowed temporarily, but it's back.
