    Also you said we never expected this much content in ffxi is this short period of time, but what's the content we are getting? just more of the same 4 things we had since the start, and when they try to introduce something new, they do it in the worse way and w/o proper testing because it was made in a rush.

    At least it seems like SE is trying to please everyone, even if only a 10% of the players will enjoy a new kind of content because it's too grindy or w/e, SE will have to do it, because pleasing that 10% means more money for SE, and for us it means more money invested in the game.

    I like grind and i like getting rewards, but i don't mind what kind of content they add as long as it is fun, and if i have to suggest ideas i will take some from the game that got me playing for more time, not from games i left in less than a week.

    don't get me wrong i had a heck of fun on FF11, i have some insanely good memory from it.
    but i'm forced to notice that they loose sight of them goal and what is the game. i say, don't turn the game into FF11-2, because we had grind into it, some pretty bad grind. you had too very good idea that must be bring back to the game. like the quest for unlock level or acces to some area. with the actually technologie it can be a good way to put very hard content behind test for make player get better.

    what i try to say, it's... they must stop to take the easy way, even if it means 1-2 month of delay on the add of some feature. with more work, the hunt will have please everyone and will have been a blast!
    but no, they have take the easy way, letting rot something that have the potential to be really good. but i can say the same of the dungeon, look halatali, instead to use the classic linear way to make it, why they haven't make it like T4, but in version more longuer. i gonna explain what i means.

    you enter the arena, you must survive wave of enemy that get stronger and more numerous with each wave. every 5 wave they offer you to leave and get acces to a chest. more longuer you stay, better the loot. if you fail, you get the a consolation prize. but with this we had a very high challenging content that will have offer a very interesting fun factor that the game lack actually.

    mmorpg are an evolutive game type, that take thing from other game, but recently... the other game evolve more than the mmorpg that don't want to try to evolve more.
    the best example are game like borderland that had make the crazy bet to mix: rpg, hack'n'slash, fps and car... why can't the mmorpg can't do the same?

    ps: all i can hope it's they gonna take a huge time to make the chocobo race into something really close of game like mario kart, if they do this... they will mark the mmorpg and get something no one will have.
