See, he wants the world "dangerous" but doesn't want people to die..? I mean, that's the whole purpose of tough rampaging monsters.

That's like saying Godzilla will fight mecha godzilla but nothing in the surrounding area will be destroyed and no one will die if they get caught in the crossfire. It just does not compute.

^ Many times have I wandered too close to someone fighting something in the overworld only to get tossed off my chocobo dead. The Voidwatch system is somewhat similar but you need a status to interact with people/enemy though.
