No, they should call for re-enforcement if there is too many people are there attacking it. Like a bunch of S-Rank spawn if too many attacking A Ranks.

That might just invite more abuse unless those S-rank come buffed with abilities that can take a mob of players down. As I've seen, even S-rank mobs seem unable to take out a pt.

Then they need to look into S-Rank Mob more then. Seam like they are just a zerge fest and add no challenge to the fight or what so ever. They need to add in more Mechanic to the fight, and NM either have instant kill or they use a skill that does a lot of damaged. If you look at FFXI or other open world boss in other game, they are nothing like this and a push over as they are right now in FFXIV.

Q25: Will the story for the Crystal Tower end in the next Crystal Tower update?

A25: First, the story for the Coil of Bahamut will end in patch 2.4. Next, the story for the Crystal Tower will come to an end in patch 2.5. We are also planning to make the Forbidden Land, Eureka, but because it might have a different feel compared to the Crystal Tower, we are thinking of possibly introducing it after waiting a while.

So Patch 2.4 I think it like this...

* 2nd Coil of Bahamut got an Echo Buff and no more weekly lockout.

* The last Binding Coil of Bahamut Introduce with item level 115 - 120 with a Weekly Lockout. Probably Turn 10 - Turn 15 where you Battle Bahamut itself.

* In Patch 2.5 The next Crystal Tower will drop item level 110.

* After that we will get a new Raids like Forbidden Land, Eureka as End Game Raiding.

Why do you expect such a low increase in ilevel?
More likely 2.4 max ilevel will be i130/i135 (gear+accs / weapon) and 2.5 CT will be i120.
