Have the mob run away at high speed if too many people engage it?Q18: Currently, the elite marks die instantly even after the recent adjustment. Are there any plans to make further adjustments?
A18: We are currently looking into ways of addressing this issue without simply increasing the HP of the marks.
Then this happened. Not sure what they can try but hey, good for them.
That would be hilarious lol
Is there a mechanic for a monster getting stronger the more people are there? I don't mean more HP but lets say if a million people target it and attack, all of a sudden its autoattack cleaves and it murders half the people there. Something OP like that?

That might just invite more abuse unless those S-rank come buffed with abilities that can take a mob of players down. As I've seen, even S-rank mobs seem unable to take out a pt.

Then they need to look into S-Rank Mob more then. Seam like they are just a zerge fest and add no challenge to the fight or what so ever. They need to add in more Mechanic to the fight, and NM either have instant kill or they use a skill that does a lot of damaged. If you look at FFXI or other open world boss in other game, they are nothing like this and a push over as they are right now in FFXIV.
Q21: The rewards for Mark Bills and Elite Mark Bills feels a bit low. Do you have any plans to adjust this?
A21: We are currently looking into increasing the amount for Mark Bills. We're concerned that if we increase the rewards for elite marks it would cause even more people to focus on them, so to start out we are going to prioritize adjustments to daily marks.

most would be glad if they could remake the video with translation text some weeks after, but i have no clue why they have stopped doing that?
I hate the Q&A and like to play the whole video with subtitels! Special because most of the jokes are missed out in the Q&A section...
It must not be live translation, but at least a video translation and not just a "summary"...

Q22: Are there any plans to add mechanics to the elite marks similar to those that bosses use?
A22: We are able to maintain balance in dungeons because of the specific battlefield you fight the boss in. If we do the same for elite marks, it might end up even killing the players that do not want to participate in the fight
Any fool that wanders into a mob of players fighting a vicious monster without intending to fight it, deserves a death. We're not even talking lost exp here for this Darwin award level foolishness.
GG SE. Toothless hunts remain in the hands of the Teamspeak brigade.
See, he wants the world "dangerous" but doesn't want people to die..? I mean, that's the whole purpose of tough rampaging monsters.Q22: Are there any plans to add mechanics to the elite marks similar to those that bosses use?

That's like saying Godzilla will fight mecha godzilla but nothing in the surrounding area will be destroyed and no one will die if they get caught in the crossfire. It just does not compute.
^ Many times have I wandered too close to someone fighting something in the overworld only to get tossed off my chocobo dead. The Voidwatch system is somewhat similar but you need a status to interact with people/enemy though. Then they need to look into S-Rank Mob more then.
