Frontline Group Queuing Problems

In the Primal data center and as a Maelstrom member, my solo queue is usually around 5-10 minutes until I get a DF pop. However, when I queue with a large group or with just a partner then it takes a half hour or more before we can join. Is anyone else experiencing this in their data center?

A good friend of mine came back for the free login this weekend, but we only got in a single match because it took over 45 minutes for the queue. Needless to say, he wasn't impressed and I highly doubt he'll be returning. It's a damn shame too because I really enjoy Frontlines and he's a big PvPer as well. But as working adults neither of us have time to sit around and wait that long nor do we feel like it's fair to solo queue, check to make sure the DF popped at the same time, join up and hope we wind up on the same party just so we can play together. Other members of my FC have reported this problem and of my 4 PvP Linkshells not a single one group-queues anymore because it takes so long.

So what's your experience specifically with group-queuing in Frontlines? Is this exclusive to Primal Maelstrom members or is it indicative of further problems with the DF and matchmaking?

Hmm. I am on Primal and the Maelstrom GC as well and have the exact same issues. It's impossible to go in with eight people, and even when I go in with just my boyfriend the queue can sometimes take 30 minutes. I wish parties had the "queue in progress" option too. I have also had it where I would get into a game and there would be a ton of spots left to fill but a friend who would be queued as in progress would not get the spot... so I'm leaning towards there may be some DF/matchmaking issues too.

Because a lot of people transfered to maelstrom. I went with one of my alts in immortal flames and the pops are much more consistant

I'm in Hyperion and most of my individual queues take at least 20-60 minutes. That being said, It's extremely difficult for me to have a premade party, because it will take more than 80 minutes to get a queue. I gave up. Frontlines are so much fun and amusing. However, the wait time and not being able to play with your friends made it much more less fun

also on primal maelstrom here, queues were great week 1 but now they're ridiculous. Even going in with 2 or 3 takes 30-40 minutes. It's too bad because the only way to have fun in that place is to have a small competent group.

Really? What rank are you? Someone mentioned that rank may play a factor in FL matchmaking, so I'd be curious if that would explain the discrepancy between your queue times and my own. I hit 33 yesterday.

It doesn't. I'm rank 40 getting frontline pops every 5 mins. My wolves queue is always 30 mins + though.

we had the same problem yesterday from gilgamesh, queued with 8 people, 15 minutes no pop, somebody got disconected from a 90k and we had to reset queue. 27 mins later on our second queu we just gave up. I solod queued right after and got in within 2mins. There's something wrong. I usually get in within 5-10 mins.
