Just wondering only. Is Blm equal to Smn now with just 10% buff?

I don't know if we're equal to SMN yet as far as overall DPS, especially in movement-heavy fights (but really, we shouldn't be equal to them in movement-heavy fights, that's their strong point while ours is our burst).

However, this buff not only increased our dps, but all increased our burst capability, so we're now even better at the thing we've always been able to do better than smn. Before, being better burst didn't mean as much because of how much lower our overall DPS was. Now that the gap in overall DPS is smaller and we're -even better- at burst, that makes the strength/weakness aspect more significant. I know at least some people for Second Coil will use BLM for certain turns and switch to smn for other turns, depending on which brings more appropriate tools for that fight. So far, I haven't done any turns where I felt the need to go SMN instead of BLM, myself, but I have that option open. Also, my static runs one SMN and one BLM as our primary make-up, though we both have the ability to switch to the other if we decide we would rather have two blm or two smn for a particular fight.
