2 S ranks, 1 log book!
Maybe like 15 A ranks, not too sure, only had a proper hunt party once and those 4 hours blurred up pretty quick xD

About 3 S, 30 A and got 2 Log one on an S and the other on an A.
PEOPLE! THIS IS A THREAD FOR UNLUCKY PEOPLE! NOT "I KILLED 2S and 7A AND I GOT 9 LOGS TO DROP." FFS. ITS MAKING THE REST OF US CRAZY AND YELL WITH OUR CAPS LOCK KEY ON.
90As, 5S, 0 LOGS.
My friend has roughly half of my kills, but a log more than I got.
A guy in a Linkshell of mine got 5 log drops in a single day yesterday.
Personally, I really wish they'd give us some content where the effort and the time we put into something determines our reward, without luck playing a role in it.
It's good to see that I'm not the only unlucky one, though.
Well these are the people who gave us Atma farming, so I'm guessing being good at RNG will be an important skill in this game going forward.
That is my fear as well. What surprised me more than more RNG being put in the game, is how many people are fine with or even happy with matters being purely based on luck.
Some randomness here and there keeps things fresh - but in my opinion, luck should never play big enough a role to overshadow everything else. I just don't think it's right that person A could clear raid X 20 times without receiving a single drop, while person B clears the same raid once and walks out fully geared. Just like I don't think it's right that person A could receive 0 logs after killing 500 A and S ranks, while person B receives 100 logs for the same amount.
Too much RNG dependency is a bad thing all around; for unlucky people, it's obviously frustrating to repeatedly get the short end due to no fault of their own, without anything they can do about it, while for lucky people, getting rewards based solely on luck takes away any accomplishment. They didn't "earn" or "deserve" what they got, they were just simply given it.
Have to check the actual number later tonight, but I've farmed enough seals to BUY one log and have 67 seals left. I've never had a log drop from a monster.
Got 1 log after a mere 200 Allied Seals; then nothing since.
Not complaining, though. I think logs should be the reward for the weekly bill IMO.
That actually sounds like a good idea. Instead of random chance, they could make us actually *earn* the logs. Offering one for the weekly bill and giving out special "Hunting Tokens" for completing all 5 daily bills in any given day, letting us turn in x amount of Hunting Tokens for a log. I'd have much preferred that. As someone who tends to be on the unlucky side in most things they do, I'd take effort-based rewards over luck-based ones any day.
Though, the weekly hunt business needs some changes, but that's a different topic.
got 3 logs within 2 hours. and 2 logs the day before
and today I got one log!
This thread is not for me
