It's a good start, you should have no issues running the game. A graphics card upgrade is probably all you need!I am sure there are probably a bunch of other threads like this so I am sorry for having to create another. I am looking to purchase a new Desktop computer, and since I have just recently gotten into FFXIV I figured I better get one that can run it well. I am not looking for something to run it on max settings, but just so I can play it smoothly and comfortable with even a bit of visual appeal.
Here is the one I was looking at, I heard a few good things about this model and using it for gaming, but what do you guys think?
Asus - Essentio Desktop
Thank you ahead of time!
Enjoy your new computer!![]()

4GB RAM, 2.4Ghz Quadcore, GTX450, 450W PSU and a fast HDD is what I would recommend for this game. I just stated the cards required for max settings as a compairson. But a GT530 is definately waaaaaay behind anything else and will give in when you try this game on it. It's a special ultra lowend OEM GPU that is just a bit better than onboard.
First of all WASS!UP! burito
Second if you dont care to much about graphics then you dont need anything fancy i bought a 300$ desktop with a pentium dualcore at 2.8 each, 4gigs of ram, 1tb hard drive, then upgraded to 550watt power supply and a HD5770 all my game settings are set at standard turned my overdrive down and when i play i set fan speed at 75% i take the side of the case off and stays at about 70-75F (seems to get hotter when in windowed mode) the only time i ever get lag is when im in a busy city like uldah and iv'e played for hrs with out having to shut down for cool down![]()
