The GPU in that system is garbage. You will need at least a GTX560 or HD6870 to run this game on max settings fluently.

I can probably upgrade the graphics card when I purchase the computer, but how about everything else? Is it looking okay?I am not looking for something to run it on max settings
First I'd like to say that I'm running a GeForce GTS 250 1024 MB card and it runs this game just fine. Sure, it stutters here and there when running through town (which may be more latency-driven), but the card itself isn't even a gaming card and it's rather old at that. In other words, I disagree with the statement that the GPU on that system is garbage. It is several generations newer than mine with 2GB of VRAM, double what I have. Still, in the end a lot of its performance will depend on the power supply, cooling, and component quality. Sure, all video cards are primarily ATI or NVidia, but the same card built by MSI or GIGABYTE is much more capable than a generic brand. After all, the brand is really just the chipset, not the overall device. Still, I wouldn't be too keen on purchasing it, although I'm just the type that builds his own machines. Here's why:
Best Buy is the last place I'd buy a gaming computer, as they only sell very generic boxes and their "coverage plans" charge you hundreds of dollars for something that should be covered by the manufacturer or available from most resellers for half the price they charge. Not to mention that if you do get their "coverage plan" it just consists of college students messing around with your hardware in an attempt to fix it when the only reason they got the job was because they used Microsoft Office and AOL Instant Messenger once or twice. With that said, I have heard of a few times when users got free upgrades because the kids in the Geek Squad didn't know how to handle a problem.
The rest of the stats look decent, although it'd be nice if that "2 PCI" listing stated if they are PCIe x16, PCIe 2.0 x16, etc. Again, none of the brands are listed, such as the Hard Drive maker, so it's hard to determine the overall quality and reliability. Before making the purchase, I'd certainly scour newegg.com considering overall price savings from taxes and the wider variety.
Thanks for the advice Shiro, that was very helpful. Yeah I looked up a few things and apparently I would be paying a lot more money than what that PC is worth. I will be searching around a bit more, thanks!
If I find anything I think is nice I will be sure to post it here first.
That is the best thing you can do my friend, shop around and compare prices, specs, and ask people here if you are unsure about anything. Thanks for the advice Shiro, that was very helpful. The PC you linked in your OP is only missing a decent GPU and most likely a power supply, these prebuilt systems usually end up coming with the bare minimum power supply. I would most likely recommend a GTX460 and maybe an 800Watt psu, probably too much power, but its better than not having enough. Thats just my opinion though.
You could most certainly get a PC cheaper than the one you linked that runs this game comfortably, what sort of budget are you working with here? and what resolution monitor are you going to be using?

Wrong i play on high setting with depth of field on a 450gts so no no need to waste 200+ on a video card.
450GTS or 460gts is good enough but if he have more money sure he can get a 560gtx but if he low on cash i think a 450/460 would do him pretty good for under 200$

And what are your other settings? 16x FSAA? When I said max I really meant max not mediocre. Don't say someone is wrong without providing valuable information.
16xq CSAA to be Exact but i was told it just lower my FPS and does noting even tho i can play on it and don't see much of a drop in FPS there your valuable information?
And to give you more
drawing quality high
background drawing high
Shadows high
Texture quality high
texture filtering high
And just to let you know setting for drawing quality and background drawing make no diff if you have it on high or Standard the only reason i have it on high is to see how hot my video card can get which max out at 71C and not playing anything 35C.
So it goes to show you how highest and Standard does noting all it does is lower your FPS. But i agree if you want to play on highest 24.7 and once they fix this game and maybe upgrade to DX11 ya sure that 560gtx would be a good video card to play on and SE have no plan at all to upgrade the game to DX10 or DX11 anytime soon it's a waste of money and by the time they do you can buy the 560Gtx for way cheap or even get a new video card by then.

I somehow have serious doubts that you have 60fps with those settings on that GPU.
and i seriously doubts anyone can get 60fps within the city to start with? so i get about 40-45 in city and 60fps outside. The game is not optimized correctly i knew this from day 1 of beta when ATI card could not even play beta1 till ATI ended up helping SE. So yes i'm playing on high setting with the lag that pretty much anyone gets i talked to players who had 500s and 6000s and they told me they lag just the same.
So i'll end it hereno need to waste 2k on a pc to run FFXIV on high setting when Standard and highest look 100% the same.
