World Transfer to Jenova (time-frame question)

I have my main character in Zalera and want to transfer into Jenova. the only info i can find as to why i CAN'T transfer in is because i need to wit for the economy to balance. people said in april (04/2014) that it would take a FEW months. well its not near the end of july (07/2014) and still not even an estimate about when we will be able to transfer. had i known it would take this long i would have just made a new character there. but hindsight is always 2020 so now i am asking, how much longer am i supposed to wait?

Not meaning to sound rude or anything, but with a lvl 33 being your highest class you should probably just make a new character and start fresh rather than waiting for transfers to open and wasting $18 on it. It won't take you too long to get back to where you are now and then you have no additional cost.

As you know the reason for Jenova being a restricted server (along with Zodiark and Shinryu) in that you can only create a new character on these servers and that you cannot transfer an existing character to them, is because they were added with the PS4 version and SE wanted to allow their economies to be developed sufficiently without being manipulated by high-level players bringing large amounts of gil into the economy (and thus dominate it).

This is actually similar to how at launch 1.0 players were unable to transfer off Legacy servers for the same reason for about six months after, so it's likely this will also be the same for the 'PS4' servers. I'm only guessing here but probably around the 2.4 patch in September/October may be an accurate guess as to a possible date for when that restriction would be removed, but nothing is known for certain. SE will inform players of when a date is planned though.

Want the economy not to be manipulated by higher leveled players? Well, that's working out so well.

Personally, I'd love to see transfers to Jenova open up, we really need the population. PF is practically non existant. Buying from the market board is so costly it's worth leveling gathering yourself just to avoid it. Ques take a lifetime, the world is silent about 1/2 of the day. Give us new blood !

I too would like to know when Jenova will open up...... the sooner the better.
