Not sure if this bug has been reported yet or not, but there's a bug in Hullbreaker Isle at the final boss where after a while, or at a random moment the tentacle just starts popping in and out of the water like a mole from one of those whack a mole games, and becomes near impossible to hit.
I've experienced it three times now in the past week.
Time: July 15, 2014; July 16, 2014; July 18, 2014
Frequency: 3 times in the past week
World name: It was a dungeon...so...Primal Data Server?
Character name: Ziek Eidolus
NPC name: N/A
Monster name: Kraken's Tentacle
Class/level: Scholar/lv50
Party or solo: Party, 4 people
Race: Is this really necessary? Miqo'te Male
In-game time: Unknown
Area and coordinates: Hullbreaker Isle
Steps:
1. Made our way through the dungeon, easily handling all the trash mobs and boss inbetween.
2. Made it to the Kraken. After 3 minutes into the fight, someone the Kraken was targetting dies.
3. The Kraken's tentacle began popping up and down on every platform like it was playing a game of whack-a-mole with us. A near impossible one in fact. Something similar to this:
4. We eventually gave up on the fight and decided to reset the boss, since there was no way of beating it in a timely fashion. You could still spot the HP and target, but only for like, half a second, so there was almost no way of dealing damage to it.
5. Completed the dungeon after resetting the boss.
I would give PC specs and Modem specs if they were needed, but in this instance, I don't think it is, so I'll just leave that blank for now.
Thanks, and please fix this bug when you guys find the time to. I'll be looking forward to it.
