Question on allied mark Vanity gear

I got a question, I am currently in twin adder grand company but I am very interested into the Allied note maelstorm vanity gear. Do I need to change GC to get it and then transfer back to twin adder?

I think you need to be in the Maelstrom to wear it, since it has the uniform bonus listed on the stats and that's how other uniform stuff works. So if you transferred back you might not be able to equip it anymore.

Maybe someday they'll let us rank up other GCs without joining them (since switching is kind of detrimental now) and maybe have some provisional status where we can buy and use their gear. I think FFXI let you buy stuff from other cities conquest point vendors at an increased price, maybe something like that could work.

You have to be maelstorm to use it or even to galmor it. If you don't want to switch permanently then probably wouldn't do it.
