id prefer a weekly or biweekly update but i doubt it would be technically possible. The changes that are needed are too...big. Honestly they need a huge patch every month at this rate cause the jp forums are just raging at 1.18

Peach Parfait/Khulan Angura on Gilgamesh

well im on page 32 atm and still got 20 more pages to go.
Currently the repeated topics on the Patch 1.18 threads are:
-overall wtf?
-"You didnt test this did you?/what are you thinking?/Do you guys actually find this fun before you release it?/lol yoshiP-beta"
-Cure hate rage
-MP cost rage
-repair rate rage
-snail(auto)-attack rage
-leve quest SP rage
-behest rage
-Imbalance rage (including THM/CON issue and solo/party play)
-passive/active mode changing (they dont like the characters sliding) this was a bit menial i think tho...
-dungeons- are about the only thing thats got a neutral if not good impression. Just they are angry at the above implements. and some anger on the con/arc/gla focused setups
and its probably safe to say that "8 out of 10 are not happy"
and "1-3 out of the 8 think its crap"
compared to them the NA forums are largely optimistic.
thers so much complaint on the JP side that you dont see as much pple backing up the optimistic side like we see in the NA forums. (like here some pple would bash them if they complained too much and call them trolls)

This statement lacks a real statistic. The complainers are always the one who wants to make theor voice heard, while the ones who are satisfied keep a low profile. Watch things getting nerfed, MP use getting lowered(too far), hate being facerolled by tanks etc after a fix or whatever may come, THEN you will see everyone who was fine with the patch starting their rage complaints...
That's why I like the "Like" Button. Cause peolpe who are satisfied can click it and show that way, they are satisfied without needing their voice to be heard and I'm sorry...all threads that were "positively" speaking of the patch had more likes, then the ones speaking negatively of it...so go figure.

your just looking for excuses. The "button" does you no good if you cant read japanese.... yeah i see a crap ton of "likes" there but how are you suppose to know...This statement lacks a real statistic. ignorance is bliss
the resident subligar was one of the pple that posted there that was disgruntled. I think he quoted that his wife got fed up the first day of the patch.
Why is it a surprise that other pple can read japanese too, it cant be THAT rare can it?
you sound like youll blindly beleive him if he told you they were 100% happy ;P

Do you mean page 32 of the forum, or 32 of a single complaint thread. If it's the latter then that has to be nice getting all the raging in one thread, but if its the former then man they post a hell of a lot more threads than we do.
It does surprise me to hear JP players raging over the SP changes to leves. I know that JP players did a lot of leve-linking groups because how of how good the XP was from that; but honestly I didn't think anyone would be sorry to see that go. I too regret not taking advantage of that broken system as much as I could have, but I hope XP parties will be able to compete better in terms of xp/hour once we get them fully fixed up in 1.2.
Grind groups are so much better though for the game/community, if not in terms of XP (at least until we get xp chains maybe and other enhancements to them in 1.2) then at least in terms of how enjoyable they are as a means of leveling. Leve-linking every 36 hours was crap, I would rage if they brought that back as the primary form of group leveling.
The other thing that surprises me is auto-attack rage. On my LNC, Pugilist, and GLA I never have to wait for any significant period of time while auto attack builds TP like I did in XI, and during that time I'm generally using other abilities. When you throw in the "special" basic attacks that remain, I guess I see auto-attack as a complete afterthought mostly with the only difference from the previous system being that I don't have to spam it near as much (which I consider a big plus).

they currently have 50 pages worth of posts in that particular thread. At the time i was reading from page 1 and just reached the 32nd page of that thread. The complaints where pretty much the same so it was easy to remember. Even saw multiple posts that quoted 'shyt patch'

Just remember the 'shyt patch' note was only posted on first few pages, towards the end it's more about the instance raids which shouldn't be on that thread lol.they currently have 50 pages worth of posts in that particular thread. + look at the posts those guys that posted those comments, all their posts are basically complaints about this game even before 1.18.
I wouldn't call it a rage though, it's pretty normal when big change like this happened, dev's just need to hurry up and start releasing info on 1.19 now since like YoshiP said in his letter 1.18 will first be bad for players but 1.19 supposed to follow up and fix those.
There are good positive comments in there also, JP's made 2 threads on what they like about 1.18 and what they don't. Pretty much same thing but separated.
One main rage I see is from the crafters mad about the active mobs, feel sorry for them + the death penalty should of waited later patches the 10% is hitting really hard.

no it was actually scattered here and there in the middle parts of the 50 page thread too, those are in the longer posts. I read the forums at work so i have time to look through every post.Just remember the 'shyt patch' note was only posted on first few pages, towards the end it's more about the instance raids which shouldn't be on that thread lol.

quite honestly i was blown aback by the upfront-ness of their posts and sometimes it sounded so condescending. Its something i dont see in the NA forums at all. If this is actually considered 'normal' then im going to have more fun spending time there lolI wouldn't call it a rage though, it's pretty normal when big change like this happened, dev's just need to hurry up and start releasing info on 1.19 now since like YoshiP said in his letter 1.18 will first be bad for players but 1.19 supposed to follow up and fix those.
