Leves to 50

About how many fieldcraft leves would it take to take a MIN from around 25 to 50? Or about how many fieldcraft leves would it take to gain five levels? Just wondering so I can maximize my time, grinding, and leve allowances more efficiently with a timeframe. Thank you!

If I recall it was about 7-8 leves per level, but that was in the 40's when I was concentrating more on leves to level than regular gathering. You'll end up getting a level here or there by gathering the 20 HQ items you need for class quests. The GC survival guides are great for gatherers as well (whether doing leves or not).

Argh, I think I burned through 50 to 60 leves to get my miner from level 30 to 50. I did gather and use many Grand Company Gathering II Scrolls though!

I used to use those gc scrolls back in 1.0. And even tried them in ARR. In the end, it doesn't really justify the means, especially since I need seals for something far more important like 2* crafting mats (coke, peacock ore, animal fat, etc).

Capped all 3 DoL with almost never using scrolls (I did use one or two to test it. lol). For miner/botany, the key is to spam the leves that give you those quality requirement progress since if you exceed the max requirement, you'll get double experience from it. And clearing those leves under 5 minutes also gives you extra experience too. Plus, since most of those leves will reward you with Cordial, make use of them any chance you got. Even market price are quite cheap if you need to restock, which I doubt you have to since leve rewards should already gave you more than enough cordials

As for fisher, the leves follows the DoH version unfortunately. But luckily, xp on fishing seems to be more abundant that miner/botany. Took like 1 week from me I think from level 13 (last time I left this in 1.0) to level 50. Just fish alot, and keep stuff that you can turn in for fisher leves. Same DoH leve rule counts, triple leve and turn in HQ fishes if you can.

Finally, make use of that rested xp bonus you get. Can take a break in between and do other stuff, and feel free to continue once you gained some rested xp bonus again.

Yea lol usually about 50-60 leves.
To ease the grind make sure to HQ turn in GC mission requests.
Other than tht have fun!
I turned off the bgm when i was leveling my miner thru leves cuz the song started to drive me crazy with its non stop upbeat mood lol.

Hmmm 50-60 leves doesn't sound too bad to take MIN from 30-50. I think I'll get up to 30 then start burning leves, I think I have that many stockpiled now!

Don't forget to acquire the challenge log if you haven't already. The extra XP and gil you get from it is really really nice ! Happy gathering~
