OP would be funny if the same thing didn't happen to every other MMO in existence. I'm guessing this is your first MMO, /welcome.

TL;DR Someone was too poor to build/buy a gaming PC.
Well how does one feel when they spent thousands on gaming PC's only to be playing the same game with people who only payed a small fraction of that for their console. Maybe its a "feeling burned" complex.
Oh right because they just love releasing a game and seeing it turn up on a torrent site the same day. Trust me this was a good strategy and it paid off GTA made it's money and now they get to double dip.

Wow, your actually trying to make me feel bad for working all of that overtime last year to be able to afford it....I never wished anything bad on you... =U.U=Part of me wishes that PSN and PC weren't connected so that the precious I-spent-this-much-on-my-pc elitist could all enjoy their graphically beautiful but exploited and cheater riddled Eorzea while console gamers played in a controlled environment where they don't have to deal with such people.

This is my post. =^.^=
As a PC player, I do wish the console version had their own servers.
It feels pretty good when I pay $6 to get a bundle of 15 games that on console would cost me $600.
Talk about missing the point. The PC has the 'advantage' of being able to run programs that are able to interact with XIV in unintended ways. Anyone whose read the various 'hunt radar' threads can tell you that. This is their argument against the PC, not the expense of it (my laptop spanks XIV 2.# and it's coming up on 2 years old) but the adaptability of it. You'd have a really hard time doing that on a console because of the way it's software operates and how you can't access said software without modding the console and potentially getting it blocked by the online service offered by the maker (unupdated PS3s can't use PSN being an example). The original post probably has a good PC, but you'd be stupid not to know that PCs are a breeding ground for game hacks.
