    Really nice macro for Embrace

I try to manually control my fairy to do healing before people get down to 70%. I noticed that I was having a hard time getting her to respond, and it was because Embrace has a 2 second cast time, but a 3 second cooldown. That means there is a 1 second delay between when she finishes casting and when I can have her start casting again. I already have enough to keep track of as a healer.

    /macroicon "embrace" pet Eos
    /pac "embrace"
    wait
    /pac "embrace"

I added a second embrace command with a 1 second wait. That way, if she is off cooldown, the first Embrace will go off as normal. If she's finished casting but not finished her cooldown, then it will try it again in 1 second. Works like a charm.

I can't remember seeing anything like this in any of the guides I've read, so I thought I would share it.

P.S. I play on PS4, and I am also not in front of my console so I'm posting that macro from memory. It may be written a little differently. The main point I wanted to get across was the addition of a wait and a second cast.

you do both physick and embrace on target so its a sure win

    and for the pc people:

    /micon Physic
    /pac Embrace <mo>
    /pac Embrace <t>
    /ac Physick <t>

(mo is a mouseover macro that you can target different players just by placing your mouse on them or on their party icons so you could potentially heal 2 people without even need to change targets)

I like being able to control my fairy independently of my own healing. That way, if I am pumping out some dps, I can still have my fairy keep the tank topped off instead of waiting for 70% health.

That mouse over stuff really does sound useful. If I were on PC, I'd be all over that.

Why don't you have your dps actions macro'd with Embrace in it? I do. I can keep my target on the tank (or whoever), slam a dps action (while still targeting tank or whoever), and my fairy will also heal that person. It takes a lot of time/effort to make all of the macros like that, but worth it.

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
    -Buffing during cutscenes.
    -Pets receiving the Protect buff.
-A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
-Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
-A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

You don't generally want to do that because putting macros onto GCD actions is an explicit DPS loss.

you can mo macro on the console/ controller by swapping physick and embrace.
hard target 1st person and soft target (scroll over) second target.

    ex. Levi Ex
hard target OT and soft target MT
you will physick MT and your action will trigger the target to go back to the main/hard target
allowing {fairy} to use embrace on OT and soak the debuff

you should be able to just hit embrace and it will "queue" and then use it when the cooldown is over.

If your looking for other macros there was just a thread where I posted all of mine (WHM and SCH) most of them are just to allow me to use <mo> which doesn't apply to you but still worth checking out.

You're probably right if the skill is done without a macro. It is probably not queuing because I am using a macro. My original reason for making a macro for embrace was so that I could use one button with both fairies (the regular skill bind only does it for the one fairy). Micromanaging Selene has so far not proven to be very necessary since I usually use her for easier content, but I do still like having the flexibility.

Well yes... That was before it got bugged with 2.3... Pets aren't queuing any skill anymore... Its already a accepted bug.

the physick + embrace macro works even if you are dpsing you know. if you are dpsing and you hit the macro when you are casting another spell it will not register physick, but will queue embrace as soon as possible. and embrace is a universal skill for both fairies. all you have to do is use the /pac Embrace instead and you can top off tank with embrace as you dps. just remember that if you are using a macro for dps and you use another macro the new macro is going to override the old one.

I dont know how hard it is to be able to change from target to tank (for the embrace macro) then back to the same target of your dps rotation on a controller but i have an utmost respect for competent sch on consoles
