For that, I'd need more exp data. Do you have any to share? It also appears to change depending on the desynth class, with what used to be the harder to level ones giving more exp per successful desynth than the easy to level classes. Can you add a rough estimation of how many items will need for each leveling section? Not an exact number of course, but a rough estimation.. the reason is that i have all crafts leveled and want to craft many of these to save lot of gilbut cannot craft one by one
Thanks in advance

Ok I see :P Btw, at 180 Desynth skill, what do you recommend to buy with my wolf marks (got plenty while leveling). There are 180 and 205 ilvl items if I remember... is it better to buy the 205 ones and use Bacon Broth and Tinker's Calm or buy the 180?

What class are you using? I don't have the formula down, but 25 points below is likely to have a relatively low chance. I'd give it about a 40-50% chance (55-65 with HQ Tinker's Bacon). However, if Syrinath's exp gains can be a model, you could get 2-3 desynth levels from a single successful desynth that far down. Alternatively, if you're using the r180 items, your success chance should be about 80%, and it would give you 0.5-1.0 desynth levels per successful desynth. Looking at it as a 50% chance at 2 levels for a 80% chance at 1 level, I would think that the r205 stuff would be suprerior by that metric. But, if you factor in the costs of the items, the 180 stuff should be cheaper than the 205 stuff, about 33% cheaper (for LTW or GSM, 500 wolf marks instead of 750 wolf marks). That would make the 180 stuff give ~1.2 levels per 1,000 wolf marks, and the 205 stuff give ~1.3 levels per 1,000 wolf marks, with both being very rough estimates.
tl;dr - I don't think it really matters which you use at this point, they both give about the same. But, if you plan to use Tinker's Bacon, and/or meld a couple materia, and/or like taking risks, I'd say go with the i205 stuff. If you don't like taking risks (or using buffs), go with the i180 stuff. When I get the formulas down better, the math will be better, but that's what I have for now.
At dSkill 190, I'd say definitely switch to the i205 stuff. I haven't done out the math, but the exp should start dropping off steeply for the i180 items from dSkill 190-200, and your success rates on the i205 stuff will hit ~60% around there without buffs.
If you try this and find my math is way off, please let me know!

205. Much better. Going to blow stuff up, but get BIG skillups too.
