Desynthesis Endgame Guide

GSM desynth leveling is much easier with Aurum Regis Cylinders. It uses two materials that you can get in bulk easily when farming favor: Aurum Regis Nuggets (sand + gold ore) and Cloud Mica whetstone (cloud mica).

A stack of 99 cylinders (which only takes 1 slot of inventory) got my desynth level from 135/140ish to 170 in less than 15mins. At 170, it's less viable but might still push it to ~175 if you got loads of nuggets. I wasn't able to test that yet but I will update when I make more cylinders.

Edit: I should add that I didn't pick the Dragon Fang earring path because the price of dragon fangs wasn't worth it and I had stacks of aurum regis and cloud mica from favors farming.

I'll tackle ALC desynth to get it to HW levels starting next week. Hopefully it won't be too expensive.

Wow, love the recent changes! Just thought I'd note that for the GSM Leveling Guide --> Dragon Fang Earring --> Hardsilver Ore cannot be obtained by retainers, since it's a Hidden item.

DF earrings require Hardsilver sand, no the ore. But it does require Silver ore, which is also farmable with a retainer or by gathering it from the old ARR areas.
