That's the thing, they made many common craft mats require *hidden* gathered items. This in my opinion is just another hit below the waist to crafter's. About metal has a part that is *hidden* and birch as well. Then various things as well mid HW that are unspoiled nodes as well. This just slows down crafters more then anything as gatherers will still be gathering something.
