So is there a reason that you can't desynth any of the new artisan gear? I bought the gown thinking you could desynth them like the glasses but there's no option. Had someone buy the CRP shoes too and same thing.

Yeahthat really sucks. I ended up getting the hands only to find out they are not desynthable
Anyone know if bridesmaid's sandals and best man's gaiters are still the best for FC3's or am I just having incredibly bad (and expensive) luck?
Hi Mycah. I can definitely confirm that FC IIIs still come from wedding gear. Went home at lunch and bought almost 100 sandals and desynthed them. Got 20 FC IIIs. RNG stinks sometimes. Maybe lunch time is the secret.![]()
Just be warned that, at least on my server, people who appear to be bots have started desynthing these. Or at least, people running bot/autoclick programs - extremely precise timing and motions, there 24/7, in "Busy" status, does not respond to chat, etc. It's very noticable when they have idle animations set - at the same precise point in the idle animation, they do a given action, exactly every time, such that coming back eight hours later, it was still the same timing. No human is that precise.
MB value has dropped on my server to 30k due to massive oversaturation by this one possible-bot. My math says that they cost on average 36k each to make, minus whatever you get from the other stuff you can get like Hard Hippogryph Leather and Spruce Lumber/Undyed Woolen Cloth. Getting 20 FC3s out of 100 tries is actually better than what I think is average still - I see average as 1 out of every 6, and that's 1 out of 5.

guess first page needs to be updated. Says artisian gear can be desynthed.![]()
For information, the new Aetherial Wheels are desynthable and are i70. They're pretty cheap to make, cheaper/as cheap as Giantsgall weapons, so semi decent way to get up to 80ish skill. Sadly still nothing for 80-110 other than Perfect Pounce or farming drops and Perfect Pounce is still kinda expensive on my server. "Positive" side I guess is that you don't need high level alchemy for anything since there's nothing good to desynth anyway.
Wait, what? Seriously? What the heck? That makes no sense >_< Sorry for the bad info in this guide - I assumed the logical, that these were introduced so all desynth classes (except CUL and the unloved ALC) had access to MCDs.
EDIT: OP updated. Sorry again for the misinformation! I really don't get why this decision was made, and I sincerely hope it changes in a future patch. While I'm a GSM/BSM desynth and not affected by that decision directly, I loathe spamming turnins for MCDs and just want the MCD market to crash. That way, I can buy them cheaply off the MB and make the other half of my artisan/forager tools :P
