I have no idea. I have never tried. I want to, but I have to first convince my wife to level WVR desynth. :P I know they buffed CUL desynths, but I'm not sure about swimwear from other sources.

Also, has anyone figured out yet if South Seas Talismans can yield Waterproof Cotton? I have heard of a couple attempts that yielded nothing good, but that doesn't prove you can't get it...
