Demimog Demimateria are definitely obtained by desynthing the i75 Moogle equipment dropped from Thornmarch (Hard) (<-- aka story mode). However, no one has yet confirmed for me whether or not you can get Demimog Demimateria from desynthing the i100 Ribbons from Thornmarch (Extreme). I'm not a WVR desynther, and my wife (who is) doesn't run Ex Primals very often.

Keep in mind that yields are never 100%. You have about a 16% chance (extensive testing has not been conducted) of getting Demimog Demimateria. If you do get some, you may get 1x, 2x, or 3x.
