Make Summoning Bells, or Shower Stands, and Desynth them until you are in the 95+ range. Then move on to stuff you buy in Heavensward off of vendors.
Tinker's Bacon helps.
Can you provide source information for the Dusk Leather claim? From what I am hearing, the screenshot that people have been basing it off of was a hoax. I am curious to see if there is some other documented evidence of it coming from that fish.
It would be nice to get a way of getting UATs that didn't include running coil or ct. This would drastically shorten the gap for bsm and crp.
Indeed it was a hoax. There are no other reports and none listed on any server so it's likely not in the game until 3.05.
I'm sorry I've been neglecting this guide. I will update it eventually, and I know a lot of the info on the HW stuff is incorrect or outdated. I threw that up there right around release and haven't gotten back to it.
Things worth noting:
BSM ~110-135: Mythrite Lapidary Hammer (r125) (crafted, not bought, and preferably melded 1-2 times) is the cheapest option here. Last I checked, you could craft them for 10k, but they cost 12.6k from the merchant. They're the only item in this tier that's cheaper to craft than to buy right now, using the prices I pulled down last time I examined them. Also, since they're just mythrite nuggets, cedar lumber, and turquoise, you can farm the mats in large quantities pretty easily (or have retainers do it).
BSM ~130-148: Titanium Scythe (r139) (crafted and double-melded) becomes better. It's just one Titanium Nugget, one Dark Chestnut Branch, and one Cloud Mica Whetstone. So, just mine 100 titanium ore, 25 Dark Chestnut Branches, and 75 Cloud Mica, buy the 25 iron ore and grenade ash from vendors, and quicksynth 25 scythes. Break and repeat. That should work well... My math says that'll get you about 4-5 levels each time depending on where you are in that range.
BSM ~148-160: Adamantite Pliers/Awl (r148) (bought in Matoya's Cave) are the best by a small margin. Melding 2-3 times is still good.
Going past 160 right now with crafted/bought items is pretty terrible. I'd wait for more dungeon and crafter content to be released to really worry about getting past 160 in any class, except CUL, where there are r180 fish. However, if you really want to go past 160 with BSM, Adamantite Main Gauches (melded 2-3 times for cheapest leveling) become better than the pliers/awls. Just keep in mind that you'll be spending about 250k per skill point, and from 160-170 would cost you about 2-3 million. You're much better off waiting for new dungeon drops or turn-ins that are desynthable, in my opinion.
If it weren't in game, I wouldn't expect to see recipes that use it. If it was a hoax, then I'm expecting dusk leather to come from airship ventures past sector 12. No one has made it there yet that I've heard.

Master GSM can make Celestine, but its not used in anything currently. Nor can the material be mined? (Don't see any on MB or in sold history)

Raw Celestine is obtained via Airship ventures to sectors SC08, SC09, and SC10. If it's not listed as being used in anything, it might be used in airship construction or aetherial wheel construction?
