Desynthesis Endgame Guide

I caved and leveled what is possibly the most worthless desynth (CRP). I was originally going to use my last spec on GSM for easy field/mastercrafts like everyone else but I got tired of seeing Mogbows dropping all the time (and now the bow will never drop ever again now that I have CRP leveled).

55-70: Militia Grinding or Spinning Wheel, whichever is easier for you to get the mats for.
70-85: Sarnga Limb (9 hardened sap) or Straight Stepping Stumps (2 petrified logs, 500 myth each), whichever is easier for you to get the mats for. I personally went with the stumps because I don't know what to do with all this myth.
85+: One of the carbuncle furnitures, haven't looked through the list to see which requires the fewest mats yet.

For Battlecraft 1 I've been getting good results out of Tortoiseshell Armillae - it only takes 12 shards since you don't have to syth the mats and Adamantoise Shell is cheap.

Hrm, 12 shards is a lot of shards (that's like, 1,200 gil alone on my server), but you're right that the other mats are trivial. I'll add it to the above.

Someone (meaning, probably me unless there are other crazy obsessive people out there) should desynth ~100 items each of different ilvls and see if the ilvl affects the chance to get Demimateria or not. I'd have done it by now, but I'm too busy fishing and hoping that some tradable Big Fish yields Waterproof Cotton so I don't have to drop a desynth class for CUL.

Added WVR. All the guides are done, but I'll refine them later when more data is available.

Soon, once prices stabilize a bit more, I'll plug the seemingly cheapest desynth items for each type of demimateria into a spreadsheet of mine and get the actual costs on my server. Doesn't help other servers, but hey, at least it's some method of comparing the items! We need what, 80x Fieldcraft Demimateria Is for all the new DoL/DoH accessories, plus 110x Fieldcraft Demimateria IIIs for the new tools? So, yeah, I can definitely see finding the cheapest ways to get them to be useful to know.

Forgot to take screen but I can confirm that summoning bell BSM desynth can give fieldcraft 3. Also Warwolf Kite Shield doesn't take in any materia slot but it's still a great exp booster.

Thank you for this very much. I thought the foragers hat can also yield Fieldcraft Demimateria III.
