Desynthesis Endgame Guide

I was running primals earlier and Got a couple Codex that I desynthed into 3x battle 2s. I was quite disappointed in this result and it was quite unexpected. Also, has anyone desynthed any Ultima items? I am assuming they just become battle 3s, I will probably farm some tomorrow to find out.

Has anyone tried to level desynth to 100% on a DoH class that they didn't have at level 50?

I'm up to 75ish cul desynth on a mule I made specifically for it. @ CUL 30.

Possible， I've tried weaver on my second account,it works , atm my weaver is 80,and doh lvl is 30 still, so I believe it can be 100 while doh stays 30 too

Really I hated this new system of crafting, I turn out to be a ruinous time consuming process with low reward, if there any out the vanity system. If the next crafting patch continues toward this, I'll stop playing this game.

Then you have obviously underestimated the value of these items, or maybe players in your server doesn't value vanity as much.

At least on my server, vanity is a very much sought after thing. A set of vanity bikini or new vanity item like the sleepwear when it was released could fetch millions in gil easily.

If you spend a little time per day looking at MB trends and sales history on popular and profitable items, you can know what to bet on and made a profit. I think last week or about 10 days ago I made a bet on the Ifrit Codex (SCH weapon). Material cost plus pentameld materia cost me 2mil gil. I aim to reap 5m in gil so I priced it at 5.264mil (264K is the sales tax). A handful of my friends think that it wouldn't sell. I placed it on MB, logged out, went to sleep, went to work, and when I log back in which is about 18hrs later, it was sold. That's a whopping 3mil gil profit on one item.

Some of these vanity gear won't be vanity by itself. Someone might actually use it. You have to analyze whether that item have a worth for actual use, you have to look at things differently.

But it is okay, the lesser the people can see that far, the lesser competitors we will have. One of my FC mate who have been actively crafting and playing on the market board, his net worth in Eorzea is about 240mil gil right now, and I'm not on a legacy server.
