I want to know why hardcore camping was suddenly introduced to the game.
One of the main draws of the game, from my point of view, is that everything was instanced. Sure, I might have to wait for queue, or wait for a mob to repop, but that was no big deal.
Then came the Zodiak books, which introduced FATE camping. 4+ hours I waited for the Taken fate. Then came monster hunts, which... I don't think I need to explain.
I have spent literal weeks of my life camping monster spawns and items in other games. I refuse to do hunts, period. I will not spend a single minute of my life longer on a hardcore camp if I can help it.
All that said, I want to know why the development/design team decided that it was a good idea to implement hardcore camping, and why they chose not to instance monster hunts so that everyone could enjoy them equally.
