    Off day

Ever have an off day when raiding? Cause I had one of my worst days yesterday =/. Doing t7 last night with my static and just kept messing up left and right. I havent downed this turn personally but gotten it down within 10%. I know all the mechanics and what to do as a healer. For some reason I had trouble aiming cursed voice. I thought I was aiming straight but cursed voice would shoot at an angle. IDK if its cause when SCH has the weapon out the body is slightly turned??? Thing is this has never been an issue for me. I started to worry so much about aiming voice I let the tank die on me once or would let their health dip really low*sigh*

Anyone else have a night like mines were it seems everything that can go wrong will?

I did, sometimes with my raid group, there was night that felt like going backward for hours! Not a good feeling at all. BUT this is temporary and we start progressing again after an off night. So ya "Off night" can happen in a raid group. Just don't give up!

Ask your group for a 10-15 minute break, get a drink, eat a snack, walk around, relax, and try again. If nothing changes, call it a day and try again later.

Yes, this. If you just keep going without taking any sort of small break you will probably just get tired and be extra hard on yourself. Best to let yourself go cool off.

It can happen to all of us. T7 can be very unforgiving. You can beat it a million times and still sometimes make a mistake that causes a wipe.

Our static had a super off day last week. Went into T6. Took the plant down to 1% and wiped for some reason I can't even remember. After that, it was just horrible. T6 took like 6 attempts because of multiple brain farts. People forgot to get eaten after honey. Or accidentally got eaten and gave her too many stacks. Or someone bumped their keyboard during blighted. But alas, we finally won.

Then T7 was a disaster. First we were pushing the phases too quickly. Then someone would derp and forget to turn around and voice all the dps. Or the timing would get screwy and all the renauds would wake up and murder everyone. Or someone would hit an instacast at the end of petrifaction and still get petrified. We stayed in there for a full 90 min before we won, and we usually 1 or 2 shot.

Then T8 was going totally fine until we got the 3 close mine pattern where they fall at 3, 6, and 9 oclock, really close to the boss. Disaster. Then someone somehow ate a huge explosion during allagan field. We eventually just gave up and finished the next day.

And then this week, we did 6-8 in under an hour, and saw pretty good progression on T9. So... yea. I feel you, OP.

It happens. Yesterday was interesting, our DPS couldn't kill slug in time for turn 1. Wiped 3 times. Went on to die to Renaults waking in turn 2. One shot turn 3, one shot turn 4.

Conclusion: The first turns of Second Coil are harder than the last two. Go figure.

You definitely have to take breaks if silly mistakes are being made. My group has had T7 on farm for a long time and one night I just wasn't quite as focused as normal and kept voicing people as the main tank. It was very frustrating to say the least. After a small break, I came back with a renewed focus and we beat it.

Last night on our first T9 win, we were going at it hard and making it to divebombs consistently, then we started regressing, dying even before the golems came out due to a ill-placed meteor. We took a 10 minute break, came back and beat it.

Sometimes you just need to take a step break and refresh yourself and then go back at it.
