Syrcus Tower and Sands of Time

It's not a troll thread lol but Morningstar1337 got the point of the thread.

They didn't want to add sands to ST because they didn't want people gearing up way too fast, yet people can get all 7 sands from elite marks in less than a month.

If sands were going to be so easy to get, why not add them to ST from the beginning?

Not trolling had one drop last night. Didn't SS though so no proof. Got all three on the end tombstone/sands/onion (won none of them).

I seen one drop on my first ST run too, they're more rare than Oils and Tomestones but they do drop.

Oh, they must have patched it with the Frontline patches or something. Oh well, I got no pics so I guess it didn't happen but I do wish I won that roll tho, sucks. . .Hunts is too boring for me to dedicate time to.

Did they say when they are adding this as a drop? I know they don't want people gearing up too fast so they are adding it later, but I need some Sands of Time. I only have 7 from hunts.

No, they most certainly didn't patch it. I ran ST enough a few minutes after it was first implemented and I hit my weekly cap for ToS on ST runs alone. Not once did I ever see sands of time. Only oil drops there (for now?). Anyone that tells you otherwise is jerking your chain.

If sands were really present as a "rare drop" from ST, you'd have more testimonials from FCs and such along with visual documentation in the form of a real-time video or screenshot to prove its existence there.

I did ST so many times, I've even saw the Throne Gem dropped once, but never saw a sand drop.

But yeah, might as well put sands in ST and Ramuh if you're not going to limit the sands you can get from the hunt.

I got 6 sands from hunts, by the time CT comes out with sands probably won't even have any gear to upgrade with it.

I got 4 sands myself from hunts got lucky with 3 book drops. It was easy when people wait 2-5 even on B rank hunts. But that all over now it seem people stop waiting due to other not waiting. So i got lucky i got all the sand needed for my SMN before people became like that.

If they do add it to CT i'll do it just to upgrade for my Sub which is BLM.
